Pug Puppies

/// Update 05/25 - All of the babies' are now adopted and I am confident that they are all going to some really great families! Right now I do not have any available puppies; however, I am expecting a new litter this fall. If you would like to be put on my waiting list, please read on for additional info and send me an email that explains why you would like to add a pug to your life. I do not go in for formal applications but I do want to know why someone is wanting to add a new pug family member to their life... If you are approved for an adoption, you will be added to my waiting list and will be kept up to date on my next litter's info///Update 05/01 - So, a while back, Toro (dad to my current litter) had a date and his payment (for stud services rendered) was pick of the litter plus one more pick. I chose to have my pick's of the litter from an unrelated litter (AKC of course) and this past weekend I picked up a beautiful little man and his sister. This little boy is special and was the obvious pick of the litter! He came right up to me and snuggled right in, so he's a total "cuddle pug" too! He is a rare apricot color and is 8 weeks old, so he is ready to go to his new forever family right away! I am asking $1800.00 for him with full AKC rights. As for his sister, I am still trying to talk myself out of keeping her! ///Update 04/13 All of the babies' have been adopted!!! /// Litter News!! We have been blessed with a healthy litter of 4 boys and 3 girls! All of the babies' are in great health, and quickly becoming little butterballs! There are 2 that look like they will be fawn, or possibly fawn brindle, 1 exquisite brindle boy, and 4 shiny black siblings! All of the puppies' will have their first days in the mix of a family with kids; consequently, a lot of hands on love! The puppies' will be ready to go to their new families Memorial Day weekend; I am willing to hold them into June if needed. All are totally beautiful and more than sweet! I do not ship my puppies' under any circumstances. If you are approved for adoption, you will need to come to the Portland, OR area to pick up you new addition. If you do not live within driving distance and need to fly, we have two options: you will either need to fly to Portland to pick up the baby and take it back with you in the airplane cabin; or, I may be willing to deliver the puppy to you at your local airport, if you are willing to pay for a human plane ticket. As always, I am totally willing to meet up with my new families within an hour or so of Portland to make the transition easier. I will be asking $1800 for the boys, and $2000 for the girls, $2000 or the true Brindle boy, all with full breeding rights. I am not negotiable on the price, so please do not ask me to be. I will require a $400 nonrefundable deposit to hold the puppy, until it is ready to leave Mama Lita, with the balance being payable in cash, upon delivery. If you are interested in adopting one of the puppies', please send me an email and tell me a bit about yourself and your circumstances; I'd like to know why you want to have a pug in your life... Also, I get multi multi emails and calls about my available puppies every day, so please do not contact me unless you are very serious about adopting. I prefer emails to calls, as I am terrible about checking my voice mail. Emails are much better, at least to start with... Here is a little bit about myself and the parents of the litter... I am a very small breeder who gets an enormous amount of pure joy in placing the new puppies' with their adoptive families! I usually only have one or two litters a year, with everything being run out of my home...Both of the parents of this litter are my dear pets and a big part of our family. Their names are Lita and Toro. Lita, is a black brindle, she is very graceful, sweet, and a total diva! Toro, is jet black, stocky, proud, and kind of a peacock (he reminds me of King Mufasa in the Lion King); however, he is also a clown who should be in the circus! Both are on the smaller side for pugs - Lita usually weighs about 14-15 lbs - Toro is about 15-16 lbs. And more importantly, both of the parents are complete Brats and impossible to ignore! A pug is like a golden retriever in a small compact body; they love to play and are never happy unless they are part of a family (even if that family is a member of 1). They need lots of attention and love, but the rewards are endless! Please make sure that you are willing and able to provide that kind of home before deciding on a pug... I will be updating my page every week and posting new photos (and trying to retrieve all of my lost info) /// Update 04/01/17 - two of the babies' are peeking already! Two of the girls' have one eye open and all of the puppies' are roaming the whelping box at will! I think Toro and Lita have produced a bunch of mini me's and the Brat factor is high and only going to grow!! /// read more

Toro and Lita have produced the most precious bunch of clones!...///Update 04/05/17/// Everyone's eyes are now open! It's just so fabulous to see their tiny glittering eyes looking back at you! I can see the sassiness even in this most adorable Beanie Baby stage! True Cuddle Pugs! /// Update 04/09/17 I just had to cancel an adoption of 2 of the puppies' yesterday. Sadly, I found out that the family that wanted to adopt them only wanted to do so in order to resell them. Please do NOT contact me if you have no intention of welcoming the new puppy into your home as your new friend and family member/// Update 04/14/17 - We have an escape artist on our hands! Our sweet black girl somehow climbed out of the litter box (9 inch walls) and almost got out of the entire whelping area completely. She was found, safe, but all by herself about 15 feet from the whelping box! Although this does have happen a lot, it is not normally until the puppies' are about 5 - 6 weeks old! Someone is going to have a Leprechaun on their hands!/// Read on to learn more about my breeding style and last litter…I am a small breeder and our pugs are raised in a loving family environment. The puppies will be spending their first weeks of life directly in the mix of a family with kids, who are totally hands on! My pugs' are bred to be cuddle seeking, irresistible brats! Please email me with your reasons for wanting to own a pug and tell me a bit about your circumstances; pugs are never happy unless they are part of the family (even if that is a family of 1)... A pug is like a golden retriever, in a small compact body that never stops going!! Please make sure you are choosing the right breed for you; pugs like and need a lot of attention and are completely impossible to ignore...but the perks are fabulous! ***A little bit about the parents and my last litter*** We had a lucky 7 babies in this litter!! Five boys and two girls, everyone in great health! Both of the parents are sweet, fun, and bratty AKC Pugs and they are my dear pets. Toro, the papa, is a shiny jet black beautiful male who weighs about 15 pounds; his parents both competed in competitions, however; he has never done so himself. Toro, is a consummate clown and sometimes I think he belongs in the circus! Lita, the good mama, is a black brindle with swirly fawn markings; she normally weighs about 14-15 pounds. She is an extremely good mama and is taking good care of her pups! Lita is a total "cuddle pug" and likes to sleep with my kids' nightly (on a rotating basis). Both parents are super healthy and very dear.  All of the puppies are extremely healthy, growing rapidly, and already taking after their parents (blind brats who are exploring their entire whelping box!) All but one puppy are black; the 7th puppy is a fawn brindle male (he is already going to a new home) I have 1 girl left, and 2 boys left. The puppies were delivered in my vet's office and all received a first health check up right after birth. I've never had any health issues with any of my pugs and both parents are of superior quality, with verifiable lineage. ///Update 8/14/16/// The babies' had a follow up check up at my vet's office today and all are doing fabulous! Everyone has good hips and healthy soft palates! The vet had only great things to say; so not a single health concern was noted for the entire litter! Going forward, the puppies will have a follow up check up in about 5 weeks, with their first shots, before they go to their new families...///Update 08/17/16/// One of the babies has opened his eyes and some of the others are starting to peek!! And talk about taking after his dad! The little man is now roaming all over the place, and nearly walking, at a pretty good clip too! It's fantastic! Now we're just waiting for the other babies' to catch up! More photos coming soon! ///Update 08/22/16/// Everyone's eyes are open now! It's so great! The babies' personalities are really starting to come out and they are now mobile too;  kind of like toddlers on wobbly legs... So cute! ///Update 08/29/15/// We have an escape artist! One of our little men "somehow" got out of the welling box and crawled 25 feet! He did this in the span of about 30 minutes! How he got out still is a mystery but I've determined that he must be the "Einstein" of the litter!!  ///Update 09/06/16/// One of the babies, a little girl named Lucy by her new family, is already running and barking, not to mention that she wags her tail when she is pleased! It's a total riot and this one is also an escape artist like her brother; she is constantly scaling the welping box walls! All of the babies have been reserved except for 1 little man who is still waiting for his new family...He is all black, looks just like his dad Toro, and is very sweet too! He fell asleep on me for 2 hours today... It was quite nice! ///Update 09/13/16/// The babies are all reserved! Everyone has a new family waiting for them and I am quite happy to say I think each match is perfect! The babies are all running around now, getting into trouble, barking, and totally taking after their parents! (Brat Pugs!)
